Beaches On The Berry Islands

Great Harbour Cay has seven continuous miles of beautiful beaches: The Beach Club Beach, Dannenberg Beach, Sugar Beach, Shelling Beach, Shark Creek Beach and the historical Ship Yard Beach, site of the first settlement in Great Harbour Cay. Queen's Beach on Chub Cay offers three miles of white powdered sand. On Great Stirrup Cay, Norwegian Cruise Line's private island, part of a half-mile strip of beach was named Bertram’s Cove after a cook who died of fever on July 24, 1834. There is an unidentified ship whose wreck lies just offshore. Coco Cay Beach on Little Stirrup Cay is reserved exclusively for guests of Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. And, on Little Whale Cay, you will get the entire island with the beach.

Secluded

Petit Cay, east of Great Harbour Cay, has the most secluded beach. Usually accessible by boat or seaplane, hardy folks can take a 20-minute kayak or paddle-board ride.

Family Friendly

Shelling Beach has a great shallow pool that is safe for small children to swim in. Dannenberg Beach is spacious and shady, a great family fun spot for picnics.

Exclusive

When you stay at Little Whale Cay, you and your guests will have the entire island and soft, white-powder beach all to yourselves. You won’t get more exclusive than that!

Active

Great Harbour Cay Beach Club is where you will find activities on the beach and breakfast and lunch are served. Around sunset, you can join in a game of petanque.
