Island Things To Do

Wreck Diving

More wrecks are here than at any other island of The Bahamas. Shipwrecks lying 10-35 feet below the sea include the “Train Wreck,” with a locomotive and several railroad cars.

Wall Diving

The experience here is unique because of the depth of the walls, plus the diversity and abundance of ancient corals, sponges and other marine life found on them.

Reef Diving

Dives range from 20 to 120 feet or more at sites like Miller’s Reef, bordering Harbour Island, and the Devil’s Backbone, a shallow barrier reef along Eleuthera’s northern shoreline.

Marine Life

Reefs are home to grouper, jacks, jewfish, lobster, parrotfish, porkfish, tarpon, brain and other coral, anemones and sponges. Current Cut has unusual, colorful fish.

Cave, Cavern & Blue Holes

World-famous Ocean Hole is said to have been explored by Jacques Cousteau himself. It is filled with tropical fish and turtles who will sidle up to be fed.
