The attractions here include the remains of old cotton plantations, caves with unusual limestone formations, and lighthouses at both ends of the atoll. Crooked Island is renowned for the historical sites that give one a peek into the island’s colonial past. Rustic Acklins island has relatively few historical landmarks, but the Lucayan Indian sites are a must-see.
