My husband, Peter and I booked two weeks on the island of Exuma. We were matched with a couple who went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

Our first Saturday we drove to almost every point of interest, tombs, , Barreterre (where excursions happen) the Pompey statue commemorating the slave rebellion. and many more sights.

The next Saturday we went to the salt beacon, that warned ships coming for loads of salt.We went to Mom's bakery with of course baked goods and even a bag of salt. Santana's next door had the best deal on seafood but it is deep fried.

Thanks to our hosts Trina and Victor and Michelle in the Tourist Office.
